Assistance to children with disabilities - Sokal District Association of the Disabled RAI LOAI VOI SOIU

The theme of this year's communication is Trials. How to protect yourself from emotional burnout? How to believe in yourself and in people?

The day disappears somewhere, like a star walks in the sea of heaven.

He amused someone very often, probably... me, no doubt, occasionally...

I place my huge cross on the threshold of an old or ancient porch...

I don't carry it to the bedroom, because it made my shoulders bruised and red.

He hides his eyes somewhere (that day) either from me or from my hellish fatigue...

The day passed, and the heavy shoulder cross returned home with me...

I would sleep for several hours, resting my shoulders on something very soft...

I would forget about the cross, but, except for me, I am not suitable anywhere and for anyone.

I cry alone, because they don't like tears, I know, feasts and dates,

and crowned with thorns...with crosses on their shoulders, it seems, they never cry in public.

I wish someone would help me or bear my burden even for one short minute.

I'm not waiting for light in a dark tunnel! i need a man

to give her hand, raise her, hug her, wipe her face with a handkerchief...

My dear, you are worn out to the cross... I asked him for mercy...

"It doesn't happen," he said, "that God didn't put invisible power in a package for me, the cross."

It seems to each of us that the cross that God gave us is the hardest! But this is far from the case...

Of course, sometimes we cannot avoid trials because they are a part of our life. But even in these events and situations, the main thing is to remember that together with trials we get the strength to overcome them, there will always be a person nearby who will give a hand, help you get up, hug and wipe your face with a scarf... and in this way take away part of the burden on ourselves, so that the burden is strong, so that trials make us stronger and do not break us completely. Donors and benefactors are such people, because they add strength with their indifference, offer a chance for recovery with financial and material support.

We are extremely grateful for the charitable contributions of Chrystyna Chase (Canada) and Peter Lukomskyj (Canada) and everyone involved in the charity!

Thank you for your generosity.
